The Stafford Centre is a safe haven, offering a warm, stress-free space for anyone seeking mental health support across Edinburgh.
Stafford Centre: Our services in Lothian are based in the Stafford Centre. At this community hub, we help people to manage their mental health, gain greater self-confidence and reconnect with their community. Located in the heart of Edinburgh, this beautiful historic building offers free activities/facilities to support relationship-building and wellbeing, including:
The people we support: Our regular visitors range from teens to retirees. Whether someone is living with a long-term health condition or rebuilding their life after an unexpected crisis, we are there for them every step of the way. As well as activities, we offer practical information, advice, and guidance on issues ranging from the benefits system to housing and employment.
Our staff: The hub is run by people who are dedicated, knowledgeable, and understanding. When asked “What do you think we are doing well?” one Stafford Centre visitor answered, "Hiring people with compassion.”
Your donation: Your contribution will help us to heat our building during the coldest months of the year and provide free hot meals to visitors struggling with food poverty.
Change Mental Heath: We are a national mental health charity delivering practical, personalised support to people affected by mental illness across Scotland. Our vision is a future where no one needs to face mental illness alone.
