St Ninians Christmas Lights 2026

Aim

LET'S LIGHT UP ST NINIANS - St Ninians Community Council & Friends of the Mayfield are looking to purchase some Christmas Lights this year.

As a Community Council, we are committed to finding new and meaningful ways to make St Ninians a welcoming and vibrant place for everyone who lives, works, or visits the area. This year’s focus is to install Christmas and festive lighting within StNinians area, specifically along Glasgow Road, Bannockburn Road, and Borestone Crescent at Thistle Park.

We have already received approval to install twelve festive lights on designated lamp posts within these locations. Our next step is to raise funds to cover the installation of the required power sockets, followed by the purchase and fitting of the lights themselves.

We believe this initiative will bring a positive footfall, strengthen community spirit, and contribute to the overall appeal of the area and something the residents, visitors, and local businesses can all enjoy and look forward to each year.
