We are fundraising to keep help with our club fees and to facilitate our young people in tbe area with the football that they deserve
Recently ratifed in April 2022, St Michael's Killean are a club in a rural area within South Armagh. We are aiming to provide gaelic football for our people in the community, we aim to help them develop the required skills within the associated sport.
We are an all inclusive GAA club and welcome all members even outside the GAA community. All people in the community are more than welcome to join our club.
Our football club is very fortunate to have the facilities that we have. We have a newly refurbished state of the art floodlit, football pitch which has been given a great playing surface no matter what time of year it is. The pitch is right at the heart of the community and is in an ideal location for all the local people in our area. We have built a great relationship with Armagh LGFA and we continue to work alongside them in maintaining and making improvements around our pitch and the clubrooms.

As a newly ratified GAA club we have achieved a lot within our first year of functioning. We have had great numbers turning out to training sessions and these numbers are continuing to increase as the 2023 season begins. Our club have developed a new app, which makes it simple for each person wishing to be a member of our club. St Michaels Killean held events last year which were a success
However, all of these things that have been achieved will need to be sustained and this can be done by you. All funding will be greatly appreciated ( every penny counts)
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
The money that we raise will enable us to develop our coaching skills at each age group within the club.
Funding will help us cover the cost of promoting our club and assist us in the cost of our equipment to deliver our Gaelic football skills.

This will have a great impact on our community, as a rural community we didn't have much for both our young and old people to do. Since we Started, all our training sessions have brought our local people together. Our young people are enjoying coming to play for us and meeting their friends from school. It is a great way for everyone to socialise as it brings everyone in the area closer together and has a great impact on mental health.
