St Mary's Rc Primary School is fundraising for
The Congregation of the Little Sisters of the Poor - English Province
Charity No. 234434

£30
Little Sisters Of The Poor is a home for the elderly that is close to our hearts. There work in Manchester began in 1862 and The Little Sisters have been dedicating their vocational service to caring for the elderly of all nationalities and beliefs ever since.
They open their hearts to all elderly residents showing respect, love and the upmost care for each person. They want to provide the best possible comfort for their residents and to do this, need our help. The Little Sisters need our help to raise money for Opera Impulse Hybrid Mattresses that will provide advanced pressure relief at the highest level of comfort in for any resident who may need palliative care.
To do this, the Little Sisters St Joseph’s Warriors in Plymouth Grove have organised a 300 miles sponsored walk on 25th and 26th of May at Alexander Park. We want to support their mission, along with other local schools, by carrying out our own fundraising for this very worthy cause and support our local community.
We will be holding a sponsored scoot of 20 laps around St Mary’s school playground for all classes across the week of 24th – 28th May.
Please join us in supporting The Little Sisters by sponsoring our staff and pupils. Any donation, no matter how small, will be most gratefully received.
Thank you for you kindness and support.
