Aim

We support the lonely, isolated, bereaved & vulnerable in our community helping them re-connect, build new skills, and make new friendships.

We provide a warm inclusive, welcome and a friendly face at the Place of Welcome every Tuesday where people can get unlimited drinks, toast biscuits and cakes whilst chatting with others or sitting quietly, knitting, crafting or playing games, doing a jigsaw, reading or making use of our free WiFi. On a Thursday and Fridays we run a Craft Group, Film Afternoon, Tea Dance, Baked Potato and Bingo and Seated Exercise Class and also have a very successful community shed for men and women to attend. We provide soup and toast for those that stop all day but with the cost of living and utility bills going up it is becoming increasingly difficult to fund these activities that are vital to our community.
