We're still collecting donations
On the 27th March 2023 we'd raised £1,378 with 7 supporters in 35 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
We are opening to the public as a Warm Space and Community Cafe, a place where people can come and be warm and connect.

On the 27th March 2023 we'd raised £1,378 with 7 supporters in 35 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
We are a community space in the heart of Stroud in the much loved 'Shambles Hall'. We are working to help people who are struggling financially and emotionally in the Cost of Living Crisis by opening our doors with a warm welcome.
Our Warm Space and Community Cafe will provide a relaxed, friendly and warm (in all senses of the word) place where members of the community can come to meet a friend, get a hot drink, play a game, or simply charge their phone. It will bring together a cross section of society from different age ranges and walks of life.
We are crowd funding to provide support for people that are impacted by the cost of living crisis, with the funding we will be able to fund the cafe, including the overhead costs, supplies for the cafe, much needed upgrades to the kitchen so we can expand the offering to include lunches. We're also hoping to offer a digital hub, where people can come to use computer, or access support for using a computer to apply for jobs, or manage their finances.
Co-op are kindly match funding any donations we receive up to £5,000, so your donation will go even further.
We will spend the money on much needed kitchen equipment, digital equipment for the digital hub, hot drinks, ingredients for lunches, heating and electricity bills.
