Having the lived experiences attached to poverty related issues and then finding out how to cope, heal and overcome them through art, filmmaking and storytelling. I became inspired to set up a CIC, that offers a film production service and a media workshop that delivers creative training skills and mentorship to youths with similiar backgrounds to mine. My core team are individuals with diverse backgrounds and have roles and skills to manage content, edit, camera operate, audio record, produce music and event manage. With the same team, we have managed to deliver film production services for clients who require videos and workshops that has impact reports on preventing offending and reoffending, motivating young people and championing diversity in film. The idea is to run a campaign from a youth led workshop that accesses deprived areas and trains participants to develop creative skill and produce content to end youth violence. With finance we can invest in the development of programs to desigb artwork create slogan posters and produce various types of film transcend the campaigns message to go into spaces where it can be effectively delivered. For example on public transport, social media platforms, food chains, education buildings, youth facilities, etc. Furthermore, finance can also be invested in mentorship programs, which develops skills, empower, improve community cohesion, increase representation, build confidence, and raise awareness for lasting impacts that can contribute to socioeconomic developments, which can drive more initiatives to tackle inequality.
