Hello I am a working mum of 2 wonderful primary school children who have benefited from the wonderful work that Autism Angels do.  As a way of giving something back to this wonderful charity I’m raising funds for Autism Angels by taking part in their Springtime Adventure.  

My challenge started before Christmas.  I need to get fitter and healthier, lose 2 stone (already lost 1.5 stone) and ultimately rediscover my core (no small feat after 2 C-sections and abdominal surgery last summer!).  I am training once a fortnight with a wonderful group of ladies at Autism Angels on the farm.  

The challenge is more than just physical and I am leaving our children in the capable hands of my husband (which is his challenge set by Autism Angels!).   Our family has benefited so much from the work that Autism Angels do.

Attached is an amazing link.  George is not my child but his story is very familiar and could have easily been either of our children.   

The aim was to undertake 3 days riding in the Andalucian mountains, southern Spain.  Sadly I am disappointed to announce  (13/2/2023) that due to circumstances beyond my control, the location of the Autism Angels’ Springtime challenge has changed from Andalucia to the Lake District.  This however has enabled more people to take part.   All current donors who left their name have been informed of the change and remain happy to support this fundraiser.  If you have donated anonymously and wish to to have your money back - please contact me.
