A fighting fund for the Workers Party in Spring 2022
The Workers Party is committed to a wide range of campaigning as well as our bread and butter grassroots work in communities and the labour movement. In 2022 we'll be taking every opportunity afforded to win new support for the Party.
This campaign is to raise funds to lay the foundations of our many campaigns this year. We've already distributed (Dec 2021-Mar 2022) thousands of flyers in target seats for the May local elections, we've campaigned hard against the censorship of alternative news media in the wake of the conflict in Europe, and we've successfully developed our social media presence and independent media output.
We rely entirely upon our members, affiliates and supporters to meet the costs of campaigning activities.
In George Galloway we have a proven winner. As leader of the Workers Party of Britain, George sets the example for how to put on a good campaign, how to mobilise support and how to win against all odds.
P.S. The technical bit...
All donations will go to the Workers Party of Britain to help our campaigning objectives as reported on our website www.workerspartybritain.org and accounted for each year in our Annual Report.
This fundraiser is NOT for the purposes of fundraising for any election, it is not for funding the May 2022 local elections of the party or any Workers Party candidate. This is a general fundraiser to oil the wheels of our party machinery and ensure we can continue fighting, on each and every front this year.
We're required to run permissibility checks on donations over £500. These will be completed as pledges are made. For the same reason, we cannot accept anonymous donations over £500.
If you make multiple donations to us, they may be aggregated for our reporting purposes.
When applicable your details will appear in our election returns if valued over £500, and if you donate over £7500 your identity will appear on the Electoral Commission website.
The Workers Party of Britain is registered with the Electoral Commission, and as such all of the rules and regulations governing political parties around finance (PPERA) apply.
