Aim

Empowering SEND children and young adults through inclusive learning resources, creative activities, and accessible support international.

Spotlight Community Group is a parent and carer-led community group based in Bristol, UK, committed to supporting SEND children, young adults, and families through inclusive learning, wellbeing, and community engagement. Our vision is to create safe, welcoming environments where every child can learn, grow, and reach their full potential.

We understand that many SEND families face barriers in accessing suitable learning materials, sensory resources, and inclusive activities. Our project aims to provide accessible educational resources, sensory learning tools, creative activities, and supportive opportunities tailored to individual needs.

Our goal is also to expand our support to the Philippines, where many schools lack essential resources for SEND children. Many schools struggle with shortages of learning materials, tables and chairs, bookshelves, educational books, and sensory toys needed to support inclusive learning and development.

The money raised will help us purchase learning materials, sensory equipment, educational resources, furniture, books, sensory toys, creative supplies, and digital tools. Funding will support inclusive workshops, activities, and resources both locally and internationally, helping SEND children and young adults build confidence, communication skills, independence, and wellbeing.

Led by parents, carers, and passionate community members with lived experience, Spotlight Community Group believes every child deserves equal opportunities to learn, participate, and thrive.
