Sports wheelchair plus charity fundraising.

Aim

I'd like raise funds for a sports wheelchair suitable for long distance events.

I am 39 years old and from Wales, UK. 

I have been unlucky to have been diagnosed with two life changing progressive diseases. The first is called CRPS Type 1/RSD and the second is called Ankylosing Spondylitis. 

I have a spinal cord stimulator fitted and following what should have been a routine surgery to revise my current device I am still sat in hospital 9 months later, fully wheelchair dependant having rehab at least once a day. 

The surgery didn't  go to plan with many things going wrong from beginning to end. 

I am raising funds to buy a sports wheelchair so I can not only achieve lifelong goals but so I can also raise money for various charities in the process. 

I'd like to enter 5ks, 10ks, half marathons and eventually full distance marathons. 

I'd like to complete a triathlon, building up the distances to eventually an ironman, with a bodybuilding show thrown in for good measure. 

I'd appreciate any donation however big or small. 

Just £1 from each of my Facebook friends would raise enough money to buy the chair and support the charities too.

All monies raised will be updated here.  All money withdrawn will be documented with receipts shown.
