3 locally based children are cycling a relay- a total of 33km- in protest against the potentially toxic overdevelopment of the gasworks site
Rosa, Romi and Jasper are all East Brighton based 5 and 6 year olds who have concerns about the potential impact of the current proposal for the development of the gasworks site. They are part of a community who want a better deal for their area- housing that is affordable for local people, development that doesn't risk resident's health and buildings that are sustainably built and in keeping with the character of the local area. The money they raise will go towards paying for an independent assessment of the impact on health of the toxins that will be released, soil remediation advice and planning consultancy.
