Every donation is doubled thanks to 50% government funding - together, we can create a safe, welcoming space for families!
We are Awesome Wales, a social enterprise that runs Eto preloved kids store and supports our local community in Barry We’re raising funds to install essential toilet and kitchen facilities, including a baby-changing station and a fully accessible toilet, to make our space more welcoming and inclusive for everyone.
Our store isn’t just a place to shop for preloved items—it’s a community hub and cafe that brings people together, supports families in need, and operates a vital community pantri. With your help, we can take the next step in serving our community better.
Right now, our space has no toilet facilities or kitchen amenities. This creates challenges for the families, individuals, and groups who rely on us:
This gap limits the positive impact we can have—and that’s why we’re asking for your help.
With your support, we will:
These improvements will help us serve more people, provide greater comfort, and foster a stronger sense of community.
This project is about more than just facilities—it’s about creating a space where everyone belongs and thrives.
Thanks to 50% government funding, your donation will go TWICE as far! For every pound you donate, we’ll receive an additional pound from the government, meaning your support has double the impact.
This is a rare opportunity to make your generosity stretch further, helping us achieve our goal faster and transforming our space for the community.
Here’s how the funds will be used:
Our total project cost is £14,000, with 50% funded by the government. We need to raise £7,000 through this crowdfunder to make this dream a reality.
Thank you for believing in us!
Your support will transform our store into a hub for the entire community. Together, we can create a space that’s inclusive, welcoming, and equipped to meet everyone’s needs.
Every donation is DOUBLED thanks to government funding, so your impact will go even further. Donate today and help us reach our goal!
