Spalding United U21s Elite Development Squad

Aim

The under-21s is a new concept to Spalding United providing a link between the youth and pathway to the first team in an elite setting.

Having an under-21 side is a new venture for Spalding United but, as we've all seen with the success of England in the recent U20 World Cup Final, the talent level at this young age is outstanding and of potentially great benefit to all clubs who recognise it's value.

With high-level academy coaching and management the under-21s will deliver an elite development side which will provide a link between the Youth/Reserve set up and a pathway to the Tulips' first-team all within a professional development environment.

We are looking for people to support this exciting new scheme so we can provide the best resources available to new and existing players to aid the goal of them reaching first-team football and provide the town with a successful team featuring a host of local talent who will support the first-team in the quest for promotion.

We will be playing in the Lincolnshire FA Under-21 Development League and the Lincolnshire FA County Junior Cup as well as friendlies against Under-18 to 23 EFL academy sides.
