Scotland stands at a crossroads. For too long, we've watched misgovernment continue under an SNP that, despite multiple pro-independence mandates since 2011, appears content to manage devolution rather than fight relentlessly for true independence. Their current priorities seem more focused on re-joining the EU than breaking free from the UK once and for all. Westminster drains our resources, Brussels beckons with new dependencies, and ordinary Scots feel their future slipping away. Can anyone in Scotland have real hope when, after years of promises and majorities, independence remains out of reach?
But there is hope—and it's coming from principled action. Sovereignty is a registered political party (Electoral Commission registered), founded in 2020 on the 700th anniversary of the Declaration of Arbroath. We stand uncompromised for full Scottish independence from both the United Kingdom and the European Union; the liberty of the individual; the value and autonomy of the family; the sanctity of human life; and the health and wellbeing of our nation.
In this critical Scottish Parliament election on 7 May 2026, Sovereignty is standing candidates in key constituency seats and on regional lists to win a mandate for real liberation.
