Roadworks Media was created to provide structured, practical programmes that engage young people who may be at risk of exclusion, exploitation or becoming disconnected from education and employment. Our team combines lived experience, mentoring, creative media skills and youth development expertise to build trust, unlock potential and create positive direction.
Our vision is simple.
To create safer communities by investing in young people before crisis happens.
We do this through hands-on projects that teach digital skills, confidence, communication and teamwork. We create spaces where young people feel heard, supported and capable. When a young person realises their value and sees a pathway forward, everything changes.
The money raised through this Community Fund will be used directly to:
• Deliver structured 12-week development programmes
• Provide equipment and resources for creative learning
• Fund mentoring and specialist facilitators
• Support venue hire and safe project spaces
• Enable access for young people who otherwise could not participate
Every pound raised will contribute to practical intervention that produces measurable outcomes. Increased school engagement. Improved confidence. Reduced anti-social behaviour. Clearer employment pathways.
This is not about short-term activity.
It is about long-term change.
