Purchase new portable ramps (freshpark ramps are hundreds of pounds each)

Appoint a professional industrial cleaners to clean the walls of the unit

Paint and decorate the building (inside and out)

Create marketing boards and flags, banners, stickers

Contribute to purchasing a van for events and marketing purposes

Improve the drainage outside in the car park

Clear the guttering on the roof

We have been running the indoor skatepark facility for 5 years, offering volunteer placements, training and support with personal skills along with providing events, coaching sessions, open/themed nights, and parties.

By working with Active Devon, Schools and other local partners, we want to provide free / affordable opportunities to young people who will benefit from the social activities, volunteering/leadership opportunities and the wider personal development skills our trained staff are well equipped to support with.

We want to improve our facility and services, update equipment, provide more training and development opportunities for young people and do more for those that need it most.

This crowd fund will support the lodge to expand and develop its services to children and young people in scootering, skateboarding, BMX and roller skates.

We want to provide incentives, rewards and events to encourage new volunteers and new users into wheeled sports for their physical, social and mental health benefits.

Our facility is run with young people at the heart of it. Your donations will go a long way to increasing their confidence, self esteem, self worth and pride.

We also want raise enough money to apply to register / qualify as a centre for training through 1st 4 sport and qualify a number of staff members to become tutors to deliver scooter and skateboard coaching courses both in house and for other providers. We will work closely with Street Games, 1st 4 Sport and Active Devon to develop the training centre and get more volunteers and staff qualified in a variety of coaching courses.
