We need some essential sound equipment and if we raise enough would also love to replace the stage carpet.
At The Lab Music is our mission, and sound is our livelihood!
Unfortunately the financial climate means that although we are working as hard as we can, and putting LOTS of volunteer hours into the club to keep it running for as little cost as possible, we are not making a profit, and do not have funds to purchase equipment.
We HAVE to maintain our stage and equipment to ensure that everyone who comes to share music at The Lab can have a high quality experience, and the bands that play enjoy themselves and have a smooth gig.
We need to purchase the following:
1 kick drum mic: £400
2 SM58 microphones: £240
4 XLR cables: £40
TOTAL ESSENTIAL = £680
We are short on stage monitors due to damage. £245 will allow us to replace a stage monitor.
If we can raise an extra £320 we will get the stage carpet replaced which will completely freshen up the stage area and improve the appearance.
