Aim

Win a day trip to remember aboard the Havildar ll, departing from Lymington. With drinks and great company, in support of myenough.com

The Prize

Win a day trip to remember aboard the Havildar ll for you and a friend, in support of a great cause. The boat trip, drinks, and itinerary are all courtesy of Jonathan McKay, in support of Enough (myenough.com). This will take place on Saturday, 19th September 2026.

The Boat

Havildar ll is a Windy Chinook 46 built in Sweden. She is considered to be one of the best handling off-shore Sports Cruisers in her class. With two Volvo Penta D6 turbo diesel engines she produces just under 900 hp and has a top speed of 40 knots….yes, that is fast.

The Day - Saturday,19th September 2026

We will meet in Lymington at 10.30am. You can drive and park in the marina or travel by train (Waterloo to Brockenhurst is 1hr 30mins) where we can collect you. After a welcoming glass of fizz you will have a safety briefing and hear our plan for the day (which will vary depending on weather). Jonathan's favourite itinerary is to leave Lymington river and travel out toward the Needles. We can anchor in Alum Bay for a glass of Rosé and relax and swim or just chill….and bask in the September sunshine.

The Team

Your winning ticket will allow you to bring a guest. There will be four winners, each with a guest, so eight in total. In addition we will have Katie White, Co-Founder of Enough, and Jonathan will be skippering the boat. We are sharing this prize draw with likeminded people in the tech and business community, so you'll be with an interesting group.

Lunch

We plan to have lunch at “The Hut” which is as close to the French Riviera as we can get on the South Coast. Read a review here. The restaurant is fully booked through the year so just getting a table is a treat, but you can leave that to Jonathan. We will anchor in the bay and will be collected and delivered by The Hut’s water taxi. Bare feet recommended.

The Afternoon

We will plan to return to Lymington by 5.00pm for an early evening train. The party can roll into The Haven bar for an evening cocktail and watch the sunset.

What’s included

All costs for the boat are covered including drinks on board. Lunch at The Hut is additional (this is a fundraiser after all).

Plan B

If the weather is dodgy we can shorten the trip and head for Yarmouth Harbour, which is a very pretty destination spot even on a good day. From there, The Hut will collect us in their fleet of Land Rovers.

The Cause

You may have met Katie White, who recently joined Snowball. Katie is the co-founder of Enough, a small organisation working to reduce, and over time eliminate, sexual violence against young people in the UK. We are hoping to raise a significant sum through this prize draw - read on for more information about Enough.

There are around half a million rapes in the UK each year. 86% are by someone the survivor knows. Only around one in six are reported, and just over 1,600 result in conviction. The current system, in short, isn't working for survivors and isn't working as a deterrent.

Enough takes a different approach. It is built around three things, each of which a survivor can choose to use, in private, on their own terms.

  • A discreet, forensic-grade DNA kit that can be used at home in five minutes and posted freepost to a lab, with results back in a working day. The kit is made by the same people who supply the British police.
  • An anonymous reporting platform that gives survivors a time-stamped record they own, to be used in their own time and on their own terms.
  • Free recovery resources - videos, guides, and tools - designed with clinicians and accessed around 20,000 times a week by survivors and the people supporting them.

The early data from the pilot at the University of Bristol is striking. 90% of students are aware of Enough. 70% believe it is creating real deterrence. Over 600 cases have been reported through the platform. The logic is the same as the one that worked for drink-driving and seat belts. Once perpetrators believe their DNA could end up on file, behaviour begins to shift. You can watch the campaign in action on ITV News here.

Enough is designed to become self-sustaining. The plan is simple. Keep it running, gather the hard evidence that it works, and let that evidence make the case for universities and government to fund it nationally, as part of their own budgets. What we give now buys the proof that unlocks everything after it.

How to Enter

Donate £50 for one entry. The more tickets you buy, the more chances you have to win. And your name could be drawn multiple times meaning more places on the boat. The draw closes on 23rd July at 9pm, and winners will be drawn that night at a Snowball dinner. Entrants must be 18+. Any winners not in attendance at the Snowball dinner will be contacted by email.

You can also enter for free, by sending your name, address and email address to Forgather Ltd, Ground Floor, 193-197 High Holborn, London WC1V 7BD. Postal entries must be received by 22nd July. Please note, we are offering this as a legal requirement in order to comply with UK gambling laws.

Please do share this link with anyone in your network who would be interested in this prize draw and great cause.
