Nestled in the heart of Wiltshire, Smithy Art Forgery is a unique artistic hub that needs your support to continue its mission of fostering creativity and community. As the proprietor, I've transformed this historic space into a vibrant centre for local artists and art enthusiasts alike.

Why Smithy Art Forgery Matters
Since the summer of 2024, we've hosted an array of exciting events:
- Mini music festivals in our enchanting garden
- Wellbeing and spiritual gatherings in our garden yurt
- Jewellery and art exhibitions in the main house
- Pop-up café and bar to accompany live music
- Literary evenings and lectures by the forge's roaring fire
- Holiday stays and wellbeing retreats
Our venue showcases the best local talent, from brewers and chefs to musicians and poets, all in the spirit of Wiltshire's rich 5,000-year history.

The Urgent Need for Funding
Despite our initial success, we face critical challenges:
1. **Roof Restoration**: Our thatched roof desperately needs replacement, especially over the smithy and cottage front.
2. **Window Repairs**: Many original, hand-made glass panes require careful replacement.
3. **Facility Upgrades**: We need to install a shower in the downstairs bathroom and equip our café/bar to meet growing demand.
4. **Garden Enhancements**: Two art studios/guest rooms and a natural swimming pond are works in progress.
