Smiles, Not Tears This Christmas

Aim

This Crowdfund appeal will buy Christmas presents FROM LOCAL BUSINESSES (where possible) for disadvantaged children in Harrogate District.

Following the enormous success of our previous Crowdfund appeal during lockdown earlier this year, I've decided to try and make Christmas a little bit more like Christmas for the many children in our town whose parents are going to struggle to buy presents for them this year.

Wherever possible presents bought with funds raised, will be bought from LOCAL businesses to further support our local economy.  If you run a relevant business please get in touch to let us us know about you.

We raised over £11k before, let's see what WE can do this time.  It's heartbreaking to think of children without presents so let's make sure it doesn't happen in our town.

The level of success we have with this appeal will dictate how purchasing and distribution is done, but my initial plan is to split the presents across LOCAL charities helping those in need.
