Aim: In June, I'm planning to walk from Kendal via Sedbergh and Garsdale to Ribblehead, about 30 miles/50 kilometres over two days.

Hi, I’m Mary and I’m fundraising for Slow Ways - an organisation with a fantastic mission and an exciting future. Slow Ways helps people get out more by making it easier for us all to walk, wheel, run, or ride places.

This is really important to me because it's so good for physical and mental health, and can be enjoyed by anyone. So, I’ve decided to take on a challenge! This summer I will be walking 50k/30m from Kendal to Ribblehead via an overnight stop in Sedbergh.

With help from thousands of people they’ve already created a national walking network connecting every town and city in Britain with over 140,000km of routes. Now they are fundraising to take it to the next level. Your donation will help Slow Ways to reach and benefit millions more people by extending their network and building a new website.

Anything you donate will go straight to supporting Slow Ways mission.
