Skidster, Putting the British build skid steer loader back into production

We are a small engineering company, based in Cornwall, providing gereral engineering services and one off builds.

For some time we have been looking for a product to manufacture, rather than just individual contracts, this brought us to thinking about our venerable Skidster loader that we have had for the last 15 years, this machine has been one of the best investments that we ever made, it is used and abused on a daily basis and is often the subject of offers to buy from other companies when they see it at work, we bought our machine second hand, as the manufacturer, Opico Ltd, a British company based in Lincolnshire had ceased production, but continued to offer  spares support, so after some negotiation, we did what Victor Kiam did with Remington products in the 1980's and bought the company because we loved the product.

Over the last few months, we have built back up the spares supply and have supplied spares to customers daily operating machines built as far back as 1987.

Now that the spares side is up and running we are looking to build a production prototype before putting the slightly improved, but basically still the same robust machine back into full production, this is what we are looking for help with.
