'Sixteen Million Rising' - The Album
'Sixteen Million Rising' is the UK's first, "grassroots", Pro-European radio show and podcast available each month on the Mixcloud platform and via our website. It is a response to the UK's referendum on European Union membership and gives voice to all those seeking to promote our country as inclusive, diverse, welcoming and compassionate. It is a show of hope.
Since September 2016 the show has been produced without any funding whatsoever, and in order to secure its longevity, now requires a financial injection from its growing audience members. This will enable us to promote more effectively, research prospective guests and potential material more thoroughly and devote the time needed to produce a quality monthly broadcast for our listeners, whom the show is made for and partially by.
But this is not simply about funding a radio show - however worthy that might be! This is an opportunity to fund the manufacture of an original artist album; 'Sixteen Million Rising' - featuring over four years worth of material across a number of genres; written, recorded, arranged and produced by someone who cannot 'read' music - but loves making it!
The album has been recorded using 'Cubase' Digital Audio Workstation with Native Instruments' Komplete, various 'soft synths', authentic instruments, a Focusrite Scarlett interface, Sony laptop and various leads, mics and cables!
It is a celebration and commemoration of the 'emotional rollercoaster' we've been riding since June 23rd.

Featuring four fully orchestral pieces among its line up of popular dance orientated tracks - this eclectic arrangement is brimming with emotion. Connecting with the listener's feelings are, of course essential to any musical success. From confusion, terror and despair to hope, joy and relief (with perhaps a touch of mirth along the way) - it's all there!

Reaching our funding target will enable us to manufacture a minimum of 500 units replicated from a glass master and packaged in the environmentally friendly 'Digipak' sleeve, avoiding a reliance on non-biodegradable plastics. The artwork will be checked and amended by a team of professional designers with each track mastered to the highest possible standard. Each CD will be shrink wrapped with a unique sticker applied to the front and the final product shipped to us for distribution via our website, which you can find here:
