SipSafe is a reusable, eco-friendly drink cover that helps prevent tampering and spills - so you can enjoy shared spaces safely.

Hi, I’m Alaicha, a youth and community professional, and the founder of SipSafe.

SipSafe is a simple yet powerful product: a reusable, eco-conscious drink cover designed to reduce the risk of tampering and spills - helping people feel safer wherever they’re enjoying a drink, whether at a festival, picnic, BBQ, uni event, or public space.

This idea was born from a personal and professional place. Having supported vulnerable young people, particularly young women and girls, I’ve seen how quickly a safe moment can turn unsafe. From community events to student spaces, it became clear that we needed a practical solution to help protect people in real time.

With your help, SipSafe will move from prototype to production. Funds raised will go toward:

- Manufacturing and material testing

- Piloting SipSafe with festivals, student unions, and event organisers

- Launching our public awareness campaign around safety and prevention

SipSafe isn’t just about nights out, it’s about reclaiming joy in shared spaces and knowing your drink is protected. It’s about reducing anxiety, creating confidence, and showing that safety and sustainability can go hand in hand.
