Welcome to Silu Wellness. For those who have not yet experienced Silu, we started with an aim to truly change mindsets on how we look after our health and wellness, focusing not just on physical health, but the importance of mental wellbeing as well. In this busy, modern world, we firmly believe we are not here to just survive but thrive, and we can show you how because our passion is helping you to feel the best you can.

What is Silu

We are a state-of-the-art wellness centre, offering some of the most extraordinary, and most progressive technology available, all under-one-roof. 4000 square feet of state-of-the-art facilities in the heart of Peterborough, a direct 45-minute train journey from London's Kings Cross. The centre is not 'just' fitness, it's not 'just' therapeutic treatments, and it's not 'just' another facility using 'Wellness' as a buzz word. It brings both the clinic side and fitness all under one roof, with a team of professionals seamlessly working to provide the very best in class, and not only sets the standard in wellness, it defines it.

Silu includes:

- a dedicated colonic therapy room utilising the Dotolos colonic irrigation machine (one of the best machines available for this treatment);

- a futuristic Hot Yoga studio that delivers an immersive audio-visual experience, instantly transporting you to the beaches of Thailand for one class and then to a misty, woodland stream for the next (and many more besides);

- a fitness studio offering groundbreaking classes from Les Mills, to dance classes, to boxing circuits. Our classes our led by the fitness industries finest, with thousands of hours of training and experience behind them, our clients are able to reach their potential in their fitness goals being expertly and safely guided along the way;

- a dedicated IV therapy room offering both tailor-made and ready-made, nutrient-based drips that are administered by a qualified nurse. We can even provide testing to see what your nutrition levels are and what specific minerals and vitamins you may be deficient in;

- a revolutionary homeopath, implementing the pioneering and rare frequency testing, identifying the underlying cause of certain ailments and providing treatments to remedy them;

- our in-house clinicians include a leading osteopath and acupuncturist, a reflexologist, highly qualified plant based nutritionist specialising in diabetes and heart disease - amongst others. Our vast menu of treatments includes the latest and greatest in holistic therapies, as well as luxury wellbeing treatments such as massages, facials and grooming treatments, all delivered in our beautiful and welcoming therapy rooms;

- mindfulness classes, including meditation and breathe work, are provided in our Mind & Body studio, where we also provide over 10 different types of yoga classes;

-we provide an extensive array of educational workshops, led by leading experts in their fields;

-we are one of the few facilities that provide our clients with a fully personalised treatment package that is so well-rounded, ensuring an individual wellness journey that is completely tailored for you and your needs and that can be fully provided within our facility;

- we are constantly researching and investing in new treatments, ensuring that we are providing the latest thinking in wellness and in technology, such as ozone therapy, launching soon;

- our customers range from retirees to Olympians. We cater for everyone, from those more experienced in fitness, to those who are just starting their journey. We know from our members that we have delivered on our vision of providing a centre that is accessible, welcoming and revolutionary.

And there is so much more to us than that!

We want to get to the root cause of any issues our clients are suffering from, fixing those issues, rather than just selling services to clients that will treat only symptoms and cause them to continue to need treatments over and over again. We want to find resolutions for our clients and help them feel better for the long-term. Our customers so far have loved what we have done, and we have many cases where they describe the improvements, they've been able to make, or ailments and conditions they have resolved, as 'life changing', and we know most of them have made some great friends along the way.

How did it start?

My name is James and 5 years ago I nearly died, I had ballooned to an unhealthy19 stone, after years of being a fit and healthy man, playing sports at the weekend and a regular at the gym in the week. But life took over, as it does for many of us. I prioritised work over my own personal wellness and didn't see the importance of making time to keep myself physically, or mentally, well and, at 32 years old. I was broken both mentally and physically, when a sudden illness nearly cost me my life. After a lucky escape I knew I had to make a change, I wanted to be able to play with my future kids, feel well inside and out, and wake up every morning with, not only an abundance of energy, but a smile on my face. It all started the day I left hospital and made a decision, there and then, to change my life once and for all.

They say you only get better when you’re sick of feeling sick. I took to google and I was instantly frustrated, I needed guidance, I needed advice, I needed help, but I wanted to get to the real cause of my issues and not just treat the symptoms. I travelled from one city to the next investing in myself, not just a costly adventure but time consuming. Why wasn’t this all under one roof? So, I took a gamble and went all-in on building a centre that would change someone else’s life, aiming to deliver a complete wellness service to help them change their life, as I knew I had mine.

After a painful build through the pandemic, I gathered like-minded professionals who were equally as passionate about Silu as me, and we proudly and excitedly opened our doors on the 18th of October 2021. Since then, we have gone from strength to strength. The ethos was functional medicine, finding the fundamental problem causing someone's suffering, and treating it with a more natural and effective approach, where possible, and with far less side-affects.

Our long-term goal is to help others to feel as invigorated and healthy and happy as I now do by bringing Silu to every city in the UK, creating affordable healthcare and fitness and wellness education, accessible to everyone (with subsidised treatments and memberships), to create experiences and beautiful surroundings that everyone could enjoy, and to help people feel their absolute optimal health.

Where the money Will Go

So, what is Phase 2? Ok, are you ready for this?

We will be bringing you:

- A day care centre (improving accessibility for parents and carers);

- Plant-based restaurant (with food developed by a leading plant-based nutritionist);

- Ozone Therapy;

- Oxygen Tank Therapy;

- Hairdressers;

- Blow bar;

- State-of-the-art weights studio;

- 3D Spin Studio;

- Hot and Cold therapy (ice bath and infra-red sauna);

- A cutting edge 'grounding' yoga studio; and

- Medical consultation studio.

There will be lots more (including some amazing surprises). 

What’s coming next?

This funds you provide will bring unrivalled offerings and a destination that customers will travel far and wide to experience. With Silu already a destination for both the local community and those looking for a full-day health and wellness destination (particularly those looking for a capital city experience at a far more affordable price), this will make us 'the' destination. If we lose our health, we lose everything, remember 'Health is the new Wealth'. It doesn't matter if you're 21 and want to wake up every day full of energy or retired and desperate to run around the garden with the grandchildren, we can make that happen.

We have an amazing opportunity to grow Silu into the next phase. Over the past year we have not only offered everything a wellness centre should have always been, but we have built a community of incredible people, all brought together by one common goal - to be the best version of themselves.
