I'm running this prize draw to raise money for a friend who needs help funding a vaccine to help fight stage 4 brain cancer
The Prize
Prize is a signed Swansea City 2023 Home Shirt.
The Cause
I'm rasing money for a friend with stage 4 brain cancer. He puts it better than I ever could.
"The cancer I have has a very poor prognosis, with most people sadly only living for 12-18 months. Treatment options are very limited, but there is a vaccine (Dc-VaxL) that is showing promise in the field of immunology, doubling survival rates and, in the case of some people, prolonging their lives in years rather than months, which is sadly all the current treatments of radiotherapy and chemotherapy can offer for my type of cancer. Unfortunately, the vaccine isn't available on the NHS, only privately at a cost of around £250,000."
