Don't miss your chance to donate
Our dancers have been invited by the CEO of the National Entertainment Awards to perform on Broadway — please help make this dream possible.
🟡 Round One: Visas, Admin & Early Deposits
This is the first of several fundraising rounds we’ll be running across the year as we work towards our overall £10,000 target. Each round focuses on a different stage of the journey, allowing us to break the costs down into manageable steps and ensure every dancer can stay involved, regardless of family circumstances
Round One covers the essential early costs that must be paid before anything else can happen — including ESTA visa applications, admin fees, and the initial deposits needed to secure the trip. These are the foundations that allow us to move forward with confidence and keep this opportunity open to every child.
Future rounds will focus on flights, accommodation and performance costs as we move closer to New York.
🌟 Our Journey So Far
Our dancers at Shuffles School of Dance have had an extraordinary year — one filled with hard work, talent and achievements none of us could have imagined.
They recently performed at the National Entertainment Awards, where they impressed the judges so much they received the Golden Buzzer. This incredible moment secured them a place to perform at the O2 Arena this June — a dream for any young performer.
Shuffles School of Dance were nominated for three awards at the NEA which were:
🌍 A Life‑Changing Invitation
After seeing their dedication and talent, the CEO of the National Entertainment Awards personally invited our dancers to perform on Broadway in New York. This isn’t a workshop or a tour — it’s a genuine performance opportunity on one of the most iconic stages in the world.
For our dancers, this is a once‑in‑a‑lifetime chance to represent their school, their community and young UK talent on an international stage.
🤝 Why We Need Your Support
We are a parent‑led fundraising group supporting the dancers at Shuffles School of Dance in Bethnal Green, East London. While all teaching and training are delivered by the school’s professional team, parents work together to make sure every child can access the same opportunities — including this once‑in‑a‑lifetime chance to perform on Broadway.
Across the year, we’ll be fundraising in stages to make the trip achievable for every family. Each round focuses on a different part of the journey, and together they build towards our overall £10,000 target.
Your support in this round — and in the rounds to come — will help cover essential costs such as:
Travel and accommodation
Rehearsal and performance expenses
Costumes, uniforms and essential kit
Group activities and safeguarding
Support for families who would otherwise struggle
Every contribution helps us remove financial barriers so our dancers can take part equally.
💛 What Your Help Means
Every donation, no matter the size, helps remove financial barriers so our dancers can take part equally. Your support doesn’t just fund practical costs — it gives these young performers confidence, pride and the chance to experience something truly life‑changing.
By contributing to this round, you’re helping us take the first essential steps towards New York. As we move through each stage of the journey, your kindness will continue to shape memories, friendships and opportunities that these dancers will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
Thank you for being part of this incredible chapter.
