Baxter Hammond: P.I. - a mockumentary about a council worker turned exorcist tackling the occult with a clipboard and pen. Support us today!
In a world where the occult meets the mundane, former council employee Baxter Hammond tackles the supernatural with bureaucracy, dry humour, and a clipboard, questioning the boundaries of good, evil, and everything in between.
'Baxter Hammond: P.I.' is a sardonic, character-driven mockumentary about a council worker turned exorcist, tackling the occult with nothing more than a clipboard and pen. It's a mix of supernatural chaos and dry scottish humour, balancing the absurdity of bureaucracy with the bizarre world of occult monsters.
The idea came out of the notion of tackling the most fantastical of situations in the most mundane way possible. The blending of the extraordinary and the ordinary gives the story its unique world view. Add to that a man, keen to prove himself with little ability to realise his ambition, and you've got Baxter - a man who doesn't just deal with demons and poltergeist, but does so by filling out a form and asking the monsters how they feel.

We have assembled a fantastic cast to bring the Story and world of Baxter Hammond to life.
Played by Owen Coomber, Baxter is a weary but determined 'Paranormal Investigator' navigating his way through the absurd world of bureaucracy and the occult.
Played by Michael Moretti,
Baxter's disinterested assistant,he does the heavy lifting, and occasionaly acts as a human shield.
Played by Anne-Marie Feeney, the sharp-witted, and seemingly sweet, office manager. she takes calls from those affected by the occult with bemused amusement and eccentric charm.
Played by Jordan Wistuba, recently bitten by a vampire, John is struggling with the challenges of his newfound cravings.
Played by Sarah Coyne, a semi-tranfigured werewolf with a sharp tongue. She is unapologetic in her new form, and challenges anyone who dares question her.

Played by Lauren C. Moore, Mrs Fir has a no-nonsense attitude, she treats the supernatural chaos as little more than an irritation—until things take a darker turn, and she herself becomes possessed by a demonic force.
We are a mix of seasoned professionals and emerging talent, brought together through the Glasgow Film Crew (GFC).
The GFC is about fostering creativity and giving opportunities to filmmakers, actors, and anyone, at every stage of their filmmaking journey - whether just starting out, or trying their hand at something new. We are a community with collaboration and peer support at our foundation.
This isn't just about laughs. Beneath the humour lies a deeper story - a philosophical conflict between moral relativism and moral obectivity. Baxter is a man who believes in the potential for good in everyone, even when they happen to be souless monsters, who, by any metric, are objectively evil. It's a thoughtful, funny, and unique world that blends the absurd with occult chaos.
This is an ambitious project with a modest budget. Thanks to a £1,000 grant from GMAC Film and the incredible dedication our cast and crew who have volunteered their time and expertise, we've made great progress already - but we still need your support.
Every penny raised will go towards:
Once completed, we'll be submitting the film to festivals across the world, particularly horror and comedy festivals, where we think Baxter Hammond will fit right in.
Your support will help us to bring this ambitious project to life and ensure we deliver a film that we are all proud of.
