Dear Ships & Castles Supporters,

I don't know if you were ever fans of Douglas Adams and his Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy? He famously determined 42 to be the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe and Everything.  Whether or not it is the meaning of life, 42 is a very important number for us at Pendennis Leisure CIC because that's how many thousands of pounds our first crowdfund has raised. Thankyou again very very much for your generous support.  

I'm a week behind schedule sorting out the fulfilment of the rewards to those of you waiting for information about how to get hold of rewards, and I apologise for that. Over the next couple of days you will hear either from me, or from the providers of the rewards themselves, with details, or, in the case of vouchers, the rewards themselves.

Thankyou to those of you who have indicated you'd like to keep in touch with the project - we will put your contact details into the Pendennis Leisure CIC database and make sure we keep up to date.  To everyone else - thankyou again, profoundly, for your important and generous support.

Already our campaign has helped put important safeguards on Pendennis Headland.  Now that you have given us the resources we need to progress designs for the refurb of Ships & Castles we can start to make credible plans for that.  We hope very much to welcome all of you to a renewed leisure centre before too long.
