We are an educational charity based in and conserving 18th century Sharpham House and the 550-acre Sharpham Estate on a stunning three-mile stretch of the River Dart near Totnes, Devon, UK.

Donations help people to visit Sharpham

The Trust offers courses, retreats and events underpinned by nature connection and the practice of mindfulness.

Every year, we enable hundreds of people - including those on a low income - to access mindfulness in nature.

People who donate regularly are directly helping The Trust and fellow retreatants.

We operate a bursary scheme whereby your donations pay for people who wouldn't normally be able to afford to come on a retreat or course. Like this recipient:

"I just wanted to email to express my heartfelt thanks for the last few days on the stress and burn out retreat. It was incredible, way beyond my expectations, actually...It came at a time I really needed it, and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the kindness of you and The Trust giving me the bursary"

Your gifts support our work to restore nature

The charity is also rewilding farmland on the Sharpham Estate, enabling nature to be restored.

Without your donations, our work towards a sustainable, compassionate world would be limited. Your gifts enable The Sharpham Trust to survive and to thrive.
