Aim: A break in at camp has left us with two missing bicycles, damage to a comrade's motorcycle and damage to one of our caravans.
We are an environmentalist group based near Stonehenge, we are resisting the destructive A303 road expansion scheme. We have been protesting on a piece of land close by to where the tunnel will be built for just over 2 years. This land is our home, our workplace, and where we host events for our wider community. We woke up one morning last week to find several of our homes had been broken into, two bicycles were missing, and a comrade's motorcycle had been taken off site and dumped down the road and is damaged.
We hope to raise funds so we can install security padlocks on all our caravan and sleeping spaces, to replace the missing bicycles and repair our friend's motorbike. This is a priority as they rely on their bike to get to work, and to keep camp dwellers fed!
We aren't a huge campaign with lots of donors. We are a group of young queers in the woods taking a stand. Please consider donating if you've ever attended workshops, parties, events, talks (and demonstrations, allegedly) organised by us, or if you support our mission to defend the sacred.
Any surplus money will be funnelled into our campaign to save the world heritage site from the bulldozers!
