Aim
We aim to raise the money to buy a new polytunnel, so that we can extend our growing season and become more productive.
Shaftesbury Homegrown Community Farm was founded in 2009. Its vision, then and now, is to encourage residents to grow and eat wholesome, healthy locally-grown food. By actively adopting the ethics of Permaculture, volunteers at Shaftesbury Homegrown help to build a stronger community, promoting increased physical and mental health for all involved.
A new polytunnel will enable us to expand our vision, extend our growing season and produce more food, for the benefit of the local community.
