Help Stockport Green Party elect more councillors

Aim
Stockport Greens have recently enjoyed huge success with the election of two councillors. We need additional funding to continue to grow.
I'm Alex, co-chair of Stockport Green Party. I'm very proud of the progress our party has made in the last two years. In 2021 Gary Lawson was elected as the first ever Green councillor in Stockport, representing the Reddish South ward. Earlier this year, Liz Crix was elected as our second councillor in the same ward. We are determined to continue to grow and see lots of opportunity to do so during the next few years.
As a smaller party with no large donors or corporate backers, SGP's finances are struggling to keep up with our growth, members are finding different ways to fundraise. Somewhat foolishly, I have offered to run 10k on the 5th November. I am not a runner by habit or inclination so this won't be an easy task!
I understand everyone is dealing with the cost of living crisis at the moment. Any donation you can make - even £1! - to sponsor me on my run will make a big difference.
