Our club
Our shinty club is rapidly expanding, with over 60 players regularly attending after school training, both girls and boys teams. This is a great success, but it means that more money is needed to pay for equipment and fund trips, for example to Ireland and the Highlands. A shinty caman and helmet costs at least £130 per player! Players do not need to pay to be in the club, so we rely on fundraisers like this to ensure that the club remains accessible to all.
The Climb
We plan to walk up of Ben Lomond, which is the closest Munro to Glasgow, and will be a good challenge for our kids, and we are hoping that some people will be kind enough to sponsor us.
