Sewing Scrubs for JCUH & Roseberry Park

Aim
We are a group of volunteers across the Teesside who have come together to sew much needed scrubs for our local hospitals.
our story starts when we found out through a Facebook group that deals with hospitals and NHS practices up and down the country, that many of our NHS staff are running out of Scrubs. The aim of the group was and is to make as many as we can and send them for free to the hospitals to keep them in a constant supply. The staff go through so many pairs daily and supply cannot keep up with demand...that’s where we come in, our little army of seamstresses sewing up scrub sets as quick as possible. We supply our own fabrics and notions, but as demand grows we can’t fund this from our own pockets anymore and we need your help. We know the current situation means that times are hard for everyone, but if you could spare anything to allow us to buy more fabric to provide more nurses and front line staff the items they need to help them stay a bit safer while doing their job, we would be eternally grateful.
