About Me:

I’m Tim, I am 38 years old and I have a passion for Muay Thai and teaching others.

I've been immersed in the world of boxing since my early teens. My journey into Muay Thai began in my late teens, leading me to Thailand where I delved into the traditional aspects of this martial art. Unlike the typical Westernized Muay Thai camps, I sought out authentic training experiences in Thailand's remote areas where English was not spoken, and the camps were predominantly attended by Thai locals. These environments provided a deeper understanding of Muay Thai, going beyond surface-level teachings often found in commercialized camps.

I've participated in numerous Muay Thai bouts in Thailand, including a memorable match against a Malaysian superstar. Additionally, I've engaged in several boxing bouts in the UK.

My passion for Muay Thai runs deep, and I find immense joy in sharing my knowledge and witnessing others grow in their skills. Over the years, I've had the privilege of guiding numerous individuals through their inaugural fights, both in the ring and the cage, with many emerging victorious. While I initially trained as a personal trainer in my early twenties, my true calling became evident as I gravitated towards coaching boxing and Muay Thai, whether it be for competitive bouts or simply for fitness and personal growth.

What my club will bring:

I've explored numerous Muay Thai clubs in my vicinity, yet I've consistently found myself dissatisfied with what I've encountered. It appears that many of these clubs prioritize financial gain over genuine passion for the sport. Consequently, the techniques taught are often simplistic and rudimentary. Despite claims by some instructors of having trained in Thailand, it seems their experience is limited to commercial Thai camps, resulting in a narrow teaching approach. I aspire to introduce a more authentic method of instruction, driven by a true passion for Muay Thai and a commitment to nurturing skilled fighters through proper training techniques.

The Story:

Driven by an unwavering passion for martial arts and a desire to nurture individuals for both competitive endeavors and personal well-being, I envisioned the establishment of a club.  Unlike many establishments I've encountered, where rudimentary skills are taught at exorbitant fees, my ambition is to redefine the learning experience.

This envisioned club would cater to enthusiasts of all ages, fostering an environment where preparation for competitions coexists harmoniously with leisure, health, and fitness pursuits. Recognizing the holistic nature of training, the facility would be equipped with state-of-the-art strength and fitness apparatus.

In addition to serving the community, the club would extend its reach by providing a platform for personal trainers. Offering reasonable monthly rental fees, these trainers would leverage our resources to cultivate their clientele.

Central to my vision is the acquisition of premises and equipment to establish a fully-equipped facility. By owning the premises, we can mitigate overhead costs, ensuring affordability for our members.

• Business rates for 2 years - £25,000

On top of the above costs we have allowed a headroom for any unforeseen fees or charges, plus corporation, income and business tax, and crowdfunding platform fees, also headroom to cover costs of reward merchandise and shipping costs
