Sett Games Expansion

Aim

The plan is to expand Sett Games with new games and new experience so more people can enjoy what we have to offer.

Sett Games is a mad idea of mine to create a space where you get away from technology and just have fun with family and friends.

It started with the idea of just having board games but within the last 5 months I have expand on that idea to include puzzles, adult colouring, marble games (screwball and bagatelle) and Lego. The space has turn into a relaxing space for all ages to enjoy.

Maidstone, like most of the country, has many empty shops and has very limited experiences for people to enjoy and at a reasonable price. The unit I took over had been empty for the previous 3 years in a once well respect shopping arcade and previous hotel. It was known for host The Manish Boys back in the sixties who had a lead artist of David Bowie. I am try my best to bring a back of magic to the arcade and to help the place get back to the glory days. It has always been the aim of Sett Games to bring a bit of joy to my little part of the world and allow people a safe space to have fun.

I wish to continue to improve what I have and to explore more opportunities to bring in more experiences for all to enjoy. The major experience I want to bring is Dungeons and Dragons as there is a great need for a safe space for people to enjoy this activity. Another activity being Warhammer however this will be more difficult due to the size of certain armies.  

To give you a guide to how I would spend your money will be used

• To continue to expand the game library    
• The introduction of Dungeons and Dragons nights
• Further investigations into Warhammer and miniatures
• Marketing to allow more people to discover Sett Games and the fun to be have

I know times are unpredictable at the moment which makes my business more important than ever before, it allows you to escape from the modern world and just to have fun.
