Aim

We aim to produce an annual barrel of mead that is unique in complexity that can only be produced with the help of friendly folk.

The Odyssey 

A Raven lands on y window ledge.... It hails from Septimus Spyder Medieval Brewhouse.

'Whether ye  be a Tyrant, Lady, Scallywag, Guttersnype or just plain Thief.... we are asking ye to raise your goblet in celebration of our new brews'.

Our Festival Meads (which are well quaffed) are being supplemented by an annual wain of a very special barrel of Mercian Mead.

Each barrel will be unique, as we trundle the well worn pit holed paths to your festival lands.

This mead barrel will be intentionally unparalleled in lack of economic viability, being created by Septimus with due indifference to the fourth dimension.

No sensible Scribe, being a 'Collector of Coins', would ever imagine such a dastardly brew.

Ye ancient method o' crowdfunding is not only useful for de-gibleting a pig.. or running hot irons through rats and roasting over white coals.

Chronicle I – Tamweorthig Mead (2027)

We embrace you to put away your dreams of spurring a fine horse into battle with ye noble king...or striding ye stallion driven chariot through the town of Colchester alongside Bodicca ... but place your hard earned groats into our sack to support our new venture.

Throw caution to yon wind... dig deep into thy pouch.... pull out y scraggy moths... take note of our rewards.
Every noble subscriber will receive by wizardry means a compendium of scribes on (his/her/maybe) magical device to present at any of our meetings in exchange for not only a mere sip but a complete bottle of our magical brew.
