The stretch target will allow us to purchase everything on the list as well as additional resources to support the diverse needs of the children attending.
A huge thank you to everyone that has shared, donated and engaged with our crowdfunder.
We are extremely grateful 🙏🏻 🙂
We are Space for Yew CIC, a not for profit company created to support neurodivergent families.
Our mission is to prevent isolation and enhance wellbeing across rural parts of Rother, East Sussex.
Our services include-
🎨 Family Stay, Play and Learn sessions for families with children aged 0-8.
These sessions are a great opportunity for neurodivergent families to connect and for children to experience sensory play, meet peers and learn in a child led environment.
👥 Training and Wellbeing opportunities for the whole family - previous sessions include First Aid training for children and wreath making for neurodivergent adults and parents/carers of neurodivergent children.
☕️ Parent/Carer coffee mornings
We take a whole family approach ensuring that parents/carers are supported along with their child.
We tailor our sessions based on the needs of families attending.
We listen to the needs of our families and their feedback shapes our service delivery.
We would like to use money raised to purchase new sensory equipment to meet a variety of needs along with Speech and Language resources.
At the moment we have a rocker and a spinning chair along with some smaller items such as sensory bottles which we make ourselves to support sensory needs.
