New stretch target
Any more funds will be funnelled into supporting our efforts on the ground in Ukraine.
We have access to large amounts of humanitarian aid stuck in Britain, & are funding a lorry to ship 25 tons of the aid over to Ukraine.

Any more funds will be funnelled into supporting our efforts on the ground in Ukraine.
Over the past month, Vans Without Borders with our humanitarian partners have amassed tonnes of humanitarian aid that would have otherwise been stuck in the United Kingdom. We plan to mass commercially ship this aid to Ukraine before August, which is cheaper than sending it in smaller vans. This however affects our fundraising as rather than raising smaller amounts to cover individual vans we now need to raise enough for the commercial truck and the logistical costs (fuel for transferring aid to a central depot etc).
We've been quoted around £3000 for shipping around 25 tons of aid from the U.K. to Kyiv, which is a very favourable rate. However, if we can raise £4000 we will be able to cover the associated costs and then roll in any extra funding into our wider Ukraine humanitarian budget.
The aid we plan to bring over consists of blankets, medical aid, fire extinguishers, toys, wheelchairs, batteries, candles, computers, clothing and pretty much everything else you can imagine! It is vital this aid reaches Ukraine, or else it will continue to gather dust in warehouses in Britain when it could save lives in Ukraine.
When we successfully bring this large shipment to Ukraine, it will be a game changer in terms of how aid can be shipped from the U.K. to Ukraine and will be much more cost-effective for our operation.
Since our inception in March 2022, Vans Without Borders has delivered hundreds of tons of aid in Ukraine and supplied thousands of refugees and vulnerable civilians with life-saving humanitarian aid. We are predominantly funded by Crowdfunding and it is you who enable us to do this.
We hope we can count on your support with the next stage of our humanitarian operation.
