The campaign has been live for almost 7 months now and we've achieved so much… National media attention on our plight, cross party political support and engagement from you, the fans.

So far the campaign has been funded with a small start up fund from Supporters' Trust at Reading (STAR) plus one round of fundraising before the march in October.

We’ve entered a new stage of the campaign now - we need to be smart with our approach but sadly this is going to cost money. 

We've intentionally set an initial target for this fundraiser of £1000. This enables us to access funding once the target has been reached. We do however, intend to continue fundraising beyond this initial target. 

All donations will be deposited into a separate SBWD bank account (managed by STAR) to support the campaign.

What will the money be used for?

The ad van was hugely successful – we’ll be working closely with fans over the coming days and weeks to think of innovative ideas to force Dai to sell. Hopefully, we’ve shown you to date we’ll always look to get value for money, and we’ll always be transparent as to where it’s going. 

If you're able to donate to the campaign, that would be fantastic. We appreciate times are hard, so genuinely any donation, even one pound, will help.

To reiterate, this is a 'not-for-profit' campaign. All of the campaign team volunteer their time for free. No one takes any kind of salary or benefit.

If we get to a place where the campaign ends and monies are left in the fund, all excess funds will be donated to the Reading FC Community Trust as agreed when SBWD was formed.
