We'd like to get veterinary care, including neutering, for feral and stray cats in Selby.
Alfie's Cat Rescue believes that all cats deserve care and love. We have seen an increasing number of feral and stray cats in Selby over the last year or so, and are crowd funding to provide veterinary care for these cats.
Without intervention, one un-neuetered female cat can have 16 kittens a year. In just a few short years, that's hundreds of kittens! 75% of those kittens born outside won't make it. This is not a good life for these cats.
With your donation, we can ensure that the feral and stray cats in Selby are well cared for in their own individual way. Your donation will fund the following:
Case study: meet Fish and Chips
Fish and Chips were trapped at Back Micklegate car park in Selby. This location used to have a feral colony that was slowly reduced through a successful trap-neuter-return programme some years ago. In the last year another cat has shown up and had litters in this location that we are actively trapping in.
We were able to trap Fish and Chips within a week of them being reported to us. Your donations will ensure we can neuter them, care for them, and they won't create more kittens in the future.

To help cats like Fish and Chips, please consider donating today, and you can make a difference to the cats that are overlooked.
Thank you.
