Welcome to Seend's community crowdfunding page, and thank you for your support.

The Lye Field sits at the heart of our village. It's where children play, sports teams compete, neighbours come together, and community events - including our much-loved annual Seend Summer Fete - take place.

Keeping these facilities open, safe and welcoming takes time, dedication and ongoing investment. Every pound raised goes directly towards maintaining and improving the Lye Field and Pavilion, ensuring they remain available for everyone to enjoy.

Behind the scenes, a small team of volunteer Trustees and helpers work tirelessly throughout the year - mowing the playing fields, painting, carrying out repairs, maintaining the Pavilion and grounds, and tackling the countless jobs that keep everything running smoothly.

The facilities are used year-round by the whole community. The football pitches are home to Seend United and Lavis FC, the cricket square is used by Melksham Cricket Club, the tennis courts are enjoyed by Seend Tennis Club and the wider public, and the Pavilion is increasingly hired by local groups, clubs and families. The children's play area also remains a popular destination for local families.
