Aim

Stand with our communities in the face of the present crisis and an uncertain future.

Israel's second war on Lebanon in under two years has displaced over a million people and killed more than 2,124 (Megaphone). Despite a temporary ceasefire, the sound of Israeli drones continues to shape daily life for many, with reports of ceasefire violations just hours after its announcement. Across the wider region, communities in Jordan face deep instability, while in Palestine, settler and state violence devastates the West Bank and Gaza continues to endure relentless bombardment and a deepening humanitarian crisis.

The effect of war on children is well documented: “in environments where fear, mistrust, and violence become normalized, children may struggle to form secure attachments or to envision a hopeful future” (Global Pediatric, 2025). Across Lebanon, Palestine and beyond, this generation will carry the psychological scars of conflict for years to come.

This is where Seenaryo’s work is critical. Right now in Lebanon, our team is delivering emergency theatre and play sessions in shelters – creating space for communities to connect, rebuild and collectively process the horrors of war. With the psychological impact of war lasting well beyond a ceasefire, our approach will evolve as the context shifts and changes. Theatre and play offer vital spaces of connection and healing both in the immediate future and for the long-term.

We need your support to keep this work going across the region; not just today, but in the weeks, months and years ahead. Donate now to help communities rebuild what this cycle of violence and war has torn apart.
