Help us transform an empty shop in Salisbury into a pop-up pilot, a creative hub, supporting businesses, artists and enterprise

Empty shops aren’t just vacant- they’re full of potential. In today’s changing High Street, they can become spaces that connect people, support local businesses, and spark creativity.

See Space Differently CIC is launching a pop-up pilot in Salisbury with the aim of turning empty units into vibrant creative spaces for freelancers, micro-businesses, and the local community.

At the heart of the pilot is SHAPE & SHIFT by Tim Scrace, an artwork of three sculptural pods representing:

• Art – exhibitions and showcase
• Architecture – studio and practice base
• Community – workshops, events, and shared space

Shape & Shift will activate a unit, engage the community, and show how underused space can be transformed. This pilot is a test bed for seeing space differently, exploring how people interact with environments, how creativity drives footfall and engagement, and how communities can take ownership of local spaces.

See Space Differently CIC is a creative movement to empower individuals and communities to shape and understand environments through art, architecture & creativity.

We support young people, artists, freelancers, creative businesses, and community groups.
