Aim

See Space Differently is a movement that empowers individuals and communities to understand, transform and activate the spaces around them.

See Space Differently is a new Community Interest Company bringing together creativity, enterprise and placemaking to help communities unlock opportunity. We believe artists, architects, businesses, and local people all have a role in shaping thriving town centres and creating sustainable local economies.

A Working Model for Change

We hope this model can provide a practical example for other towns and cities facing similar challenges. We have received UKSPF funding for the preparations for launch and a pilot but need support to tackle rates and rent risks to make the bigger step to full activation.

SUPPORT US by investing in the next stage which demands a deposit and a rental commmitment for 6 months.  Our target is therefore set at £10,000.

We have the framework of a sustainable model and we have a variety of property options on the table.  We need your help to secure them to pilot the plan.

Our immediate ambition is simple: to establish a pilot creative campus including a hub and showcase on Salisbury's high street, transforming underused space into incubator space for freelancers, creative businesses, collaboration, learning, and community engagement. We have already built an established network of independent businesses and creative professionals ready to make this a reality.

Salisbury has shown remarkable resilience in recent years. We believe the next chapter is about moving beyond Novichok recovery and demonstrating how creativity can become an engine for economic growth, enterprise, and community wealth.

See Space Differently CIC is a creative movement to empower individuals and communities to understand and shape space through art, architecture & creativity. Our work enables platforms for people, creativity, and change.  

We welcome donations in whatever form or size but regular payments help with cash flow and bigger ones help us do bigger things.  

Many overheads are not covered by grant funding such as insurance, legal fees, licensing agreements, staff costs, accounting and administration, so donations will help support us by covering these.

Regular donations make a big difference and allow us to build our community

• £10 a month will enable our podcast - inspiring the next generation
• £25 a month will allow us to expand on our IGNITE series of creative events
• £50 a month could enable us to plan regular community activities or projects
• £100 a month could help pay for grant-writing to secure project funding

Bigger one-off donations will help us build projects with big impact

• £500 – Support an event or workshop or creation of an artwork
• £1,000 – Become a Trailblazer to gain early insight into our plans
• £2,000 – Spark creativity by enabling production of five podcasts

We support young people, artists, freelancers, creative businesses, and community groups. What makes us unique is the way we combine our architectural expertise, artistic practice, and community co-creation within one delivery model.  Most consultancies offer either technical design, artistic production, or community engagement, See Space Differently does all three.

We’re not just designing spaces, we’re empowering people to take part in shaping them.

Locally, we deliver creative cross-disciplinary forums, and collaborative events where residents, creatives, and entrepreneurs exchange ideas and co-create solutions, fostering innovation, civic pride, and social cohesion.  Beyond our events we deliver exhibitions, pop-up spaces, public art and architectural projects.

Globally, our podcasts, online resources, and social media channels remove traditional barriers to knowledge and participation in design and creativity, spreading inspiration and learning widely.  Through access to experienced professionals as well as tool kits for change we offer different ways to learn and engage.

Sustainability is central to our approach. We promote eco-friendly practices and encourage communities to adopt environmentally responsible habits. Through each of our projects, we enable people to reimagine space, enriching both social, cultural, educational, and environmental value.
