Boothstown FC are raising money to improve our facilities and fix drainage issues, creating a safer, cleaner, and better space for everyone.
We are a friendly community club run by dedicated volunteers and supported by local members. We provide a welcoming place for people of all ages to take part in sport, social activities, and community events.
We are proud of our club and are raising funds to improve our facilities and drainage, helping create a safer and better environment for everyone to enjoy.
We are crowdfunding to improve our drainage, toilet facilities, and clubhouse to better support our growing club and community. Reliable drainage is essential to keep our pitches and facilities usable throughout the year, while improved toilet facilities are vital for our girls' teams and help create a more inclusive environment for all players.
We also want to renovate and enhance our clubhouse, making it a more welcoming, comfortable, and enjoyable space for members, visitors, and the wider local community. These improvements will help us provide better facilities, support participation in sport, and create a community hub that everyone can enjoy.
Every donation will help us invest in the future of our club and ensure it remains a valuable asset for years to come.
Planned expenditure:
These improvements will help us expand the use of the clubhouse and support plans to establish a youth club for our younger members. By creating a safe, welcoming, and engaging space, we hope to provide more opportunities for young people to socialise, take part in positive activities, and feel connected to their local community.
Any additional funds raised will be reinvested into further facility improvements that benefit players, volunteers, supporters, and community groups who use the club throughout the year.
Our club provides far more than just sport. We are a community hub that brings people of all ages together, promoting physical activity, wellbeing, inclusion, and social connection.
Our facilities are used by men's, women's, girls', and youth teams, providing opportunities for people to stay active, build confidence, and develop lifelong friendships. We are particularly committed to supporting the growth of our girls' section by providing safe, accessible, and welcoming facilities.
We also want to continue to support alternative educational provision for the council, providing a positive environment where young people can develop skills, build confidence, and engage in activities that support their personal growth and wellbeing.
The planned improvements will benefit the wider community by upgrading the clubhouse, installing bi-folding doors, and creating additional recreational opportunities such as a pool table and dart boards. These changes will help us create a more welcoming space where people can meet, socialise, and take part in positive activities throughout the year.
Our plans to develop a youth club will provide young people with a safe and supportive space, strengthening their connection with the club and the wider community. Our goal is to create a facility that serves members, partners, and the wider community for generations to come.
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
