Help us publish our third fundraising cookbook, support 20 brilliant arts charities & scale up our fight against food poverty across the UK!

We've partnered with 20 wonderful arts charities, that have each been assigned 1 of the 20 countries that will feature in the book. If we hit our all or nothing target, we'll have the funds required to commission an individual/group of artists they support to complete the artwork that will feature at the start of each section.
Bounceback Food CIC is a community cookery school that, pre COVID-19, predominantly supported people living in food poverty in Greater Manchester, Cheshire & North Wales. Since the pandemic hit, we have been busy mobilising delivery teams in the UK’s largest 20 towns and cities in order to teach people how to cook, donate food to foodbanks and provide catering services in disadvantaged communities nationwide.

Since 2014 we have taught more than 2,500 people how to cook including stroke survivors, young carers, foodbank beneficiaries and elderly people living in sheltered accommodation. We have also donated over 10,000 items of food to foodbanks as part of our foodbank drive and generated almost 100,000 meals for people in need via our catering provision, community meal drives and workshops. As the furlough scheme comes to an end and claims for Universal Credit soar, it's vital that we replicate the model our team in central Manchester has developed over the last 6 years and collectively fight food poverty across the UK!

We are delighted to be working in partnership with the following arts charities, who are representing the first 20 towns and cities where Bounceback Food CIC delivery teams will operate:

In the run up to our #BackTheBook crowdfunding campaign we've been featuring details of the 20 organisations on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts on social media - give us a follow to find out more about their superb work!
In keeping with the proactive way in which we’ve been fighting food poverty since 2014, our COVID-19 response has included:

We are a non-profit CIC (Community Interest Company) - you can find out more about our social enterprise at www.BouncebackFood.co.uk.
Our first all or nothing fundraising target is £3,000, which we will split equally (£150 per arts charity) between the organisations involved. This will enable them to commission the individual/group of artists they support to develop the country specific artwork in their brief. The artists will get the go ahead to begin working on their designs as soon as we hit this first target, so please back the book ASAP and tell your friends, families and colleagues about our project too! We expect to publish the book in November 2021.

NB: The front cover shown is subject to change - we're working on several ideas!
Any additional funding will help to accelerate the development of our community cookery school as we scale up our fight against food poverty across the UK! Specifically, we'd like to:
