Aim
The aim is to reduce food waste while providing nutritious meals and snacks to the local community.
Who are we?
We are Fare Divide C.I.C. and we are behind the Littlehampton Community Fridge who intercepts 4-5 tonnes of surplus food from being wasted per week!
We have several community fridges in West Sussex and now we want to open a Second chance rescued food pay-as-you-feel café to support our local community through a tricky time and bring people together over good nutritious food.
Community impact
We will create a welcoming space for all to come and share a meal together. We will have a pay-as-you feel element so no-one is excluded.
Why are we crowdfunding?
We need money to make this happen. We need some equipment and supplies as well as money towards the use of the facilities.
How we’ll spend the money raised
We need £1500 for use towards facilities.
We need £750 to purchase store cupboard ingredients, and buy suitable containers for transporting prepared food.
